We was contacted to provide a quality flooring installation to this property with ocean views in Shorncliffe, Brisbane. The Client wanted a light and airy feel to the property to fully maximise that beach front style living experience. When we was contacted to do a site assessment the existing flooring had already been removed, leaving behind glue residue from the outdated old wooden flooring that was installed throughout the middle level and top level of this three story home. The ground floor was covered in outdated but solid tiles. This project called for a lot of floor preparation prior to the newly chosen hybrid flooring being installed. With over 150 SQM of old wood adhesive to removed we got to work. Before using a fibre reinforced flood coat to correct the un-flat floors.

The client wanted a seamless transition between the stair case and the main areas, so we utilised our pre-made hybrid stair nosing to install hybrid flooring on the stair case too. The Client wanted minimal silicone sealant around the edges of the stair case so we made sure every step was cut as tightly as possible. 200+ SQM of our 8mm hybrid flooring later we completed the project and we like to think the pictures speak for themselves.
